On September 19-20, 2019 I was one of the International Poet guests at the 12th Guntur International Poetry Festival (GIPF) 2020 held at Guntur College, Guntur Andra Pradesh, India. It was a gathering of more than 100 local poets in India and 10 International foreign poets from Poland, UK, Bhutan and Phillippines.
This year, despite the Pandemic and worldwide travel ban due to the pandemic, the founder / organizers and hosts of Guntur International Poetry Festival Professor Gopichand Paruchuri and Professor Nagasuseela Panchumarthi who are both English Professors at Guntur College have succeeded in their launched of the 13th GIPF 2020 on a virtual mode for the love of Poetry via YouTube Live.
"They have been hosting a non profit poetry fest to promote peace and burning topic like women and environment issues..."
I am favored to be chosen once again to participate in this commendable poetry fest.
No pandemic and quarantine could stop the the unique tandem of two poetic souls. The support and participation of poets around the world is again overwhelming. This 13th GIPF 2020 is dedicated to all the Doctors and medical frontliners in the world.
Heartiest Congratulations to both of you & to all the poet participants. 🍂👏🍂👏🍂👏
This is the best thing in our digital world.
