Director of Arab Media Network in Sweden Madeleine Kassab, Ambassador of Creativity, Humanity and Peace

From the womb of suffering, the "daughter of war" was born

Madeleine Kassab has created her musical band and named it “The Daughter of War” because this group was born in the circumstances of the ongoing war in Syria.

Before the war, Madeleine was the director of a national band and a singer as well. She and her family always wanted to form a group that carries messages of love and peace. But the circumstances of the war made thempostpone the project in the hope that they would meet again and start with it.

As the duration of their separation crossed eight years, Madeleine decided not to give in to the difficulties and to start this project and communicate her humanitarian messages through art. She took this decision while she was sad writing a poem in Swedish and composing music for it. This poem is a message to her mother expressing her longing and love. She did everything necessary to start her project. Madeleine´s brothers and sisters are all artists having the same human interests.

Through the platform of Arab Media Network, Madeleine dedicates this song to her mother and tells her that she hopes to write poems for her in all the languages she speaks.

The Arab Media Network team congratulates Madeleine Kassab, the director of the Network in Sweden, for her ability to be successful in many scientific, artistic and literary fields despite the difficult circumstances that she passed and is still going through.

الدكتورة مادلين قصاب،  سفيرة الإبداع و الإنسانية و السلام: 

 من رحم المعاناة ولدت “ابنة الحرب”

شكلت مادلين قصاب فرقتها الموسيقية و أطلقت عليها اسم “ابنة الحرب” لأن هذه الفرقة ولدت في ظروف قاهرة، في ظروف الحرب الدائرة في سوريا.  

قبل الحرب كانت مادلين مديرة لفرقة وطنية و مغنية أيضا و لطالما أرادت أن تشكل هي و أخوتها فرقة تحمل رسائل المحبة والسلام.  لكن ظروف الحرب جعلتها و أخوتها يؤجلون المشروع على أمل أن يلتقوا مجددا وبعد ذلك يبدأون به. بما أن افتراقهم دام لأكثر من ثمان سنوات قررت ألا تستسلم للصعوبات و أن تبدأ هذا المشروع و توصل رسائلها الإنسانية عن طريق الفن.  اتخذت هذا القرار عندما كانت حزينة تكتب و تلحن قصيدة باللغة السويدية. هذه القصيدة رسالة تعبر بها لوالدتها عن شوقها و حبها.  و فعلا قامت بكل ما يلزم لتبدأ مشروعها. و الجدير بالذكر أن أخوة مادلين جميعهم فنانون و لديهم نفس اهتماماتها الإنسانية.  

من خلال منبر الشبكة العربية العالمية، تهدي مادلين هذه الأغنية لأمها و تقول لها أنها تتمنى أن تكتب لها قصائد بكل اللغات التي تجيدها. 

فريق عمل الشبكة العربية يهنئ مادلين قصاب على قدرتها على التوفيق بين مجالات علمية و فنية و أدبية عديدة على الرغم من صعوبة الظروف التي مرت و مازالت تمر بها.
