نائب رئيس الشبكة العربية للإعلام، د.مادلين قصاب: المنى توجه رسالتها إلى صُنّاع الحروب
فرقة المنى بإدارة الباحثة و الإعلامية الدكتورة مادلين قصاب تتوجه عبر أغنية إلى كل صُناع الحروب مطالبة إياهم باسم كل الشعوب المضطهدة بالتوقف عن ارتكاب الجرائم و المجازر بحق الإنسانية.
الجدير بالذكر أن د.مادلين أنشأت فرقتها منذ شهر و أطلقت عليها اسم “ابنة الحرب” و ذلك لأن هذه الفرقة ولدت في ظروف الحرب الدائرة في سوريا. إلا أن بعض الأصدقاء و الإعلاميين و الأكاديميين طلبوا من د. مادلين تغيير اسم الفرقة حتى لا يُذكِّرهم بالحرب دائما خاصة في حال توقفها و الذي نرجو أن يكون قريبا. لذلك استجابة و احتراما لاقتراحهم غيرت د.مادلين اسم الفرقة ليكون “فرقة المنى” إكراما لأمها منى و لأن اسم المنى سيعكس أمنيات و مشاعر أعضاء الفرقة.

Al-Mona Sends its Message to War Makers
Al-Mona band, under the direction of Madeleine Kassab, addresses -through a song- the war-makers, asking them on behalf of all the oppressed people to stop committing crimes against humanity.
Madeleine formed her band a month ago and called it "Daughter of War" because this group was born in the circumstances of the ongoing war in Syria.However, some friends, journalists and academics asked Madeleine to change the name of the band so that it will not always remind them of war, especially in the event that it ends and which we hope will be soon.
Therefore, in response to and respecting their proposal, Madeleine has changed the name of the band to be "Al-Mona Band" in honor of her mother; Mona, and because the name Mona (Wish) would reflect the wishes and feelings of the band members.
